Our Story
Forty years.
Three rooms.
One kitchen.
Archie's opened its first window in December 1985 in London, Ontario. Forty years later we are still here, still serving fish and chips the same way.
Since Dec 1985
"The same passion
and commitment
that began in 1985."
What stayed the same
Forty years of the basics.
01
Hand-battered
Every order, no shortcuts. The batter recipe has not changed since the first window opened.
02
Fresh-cut chips
Whole potatoes, hand-cut in the kitchen, fried to order. The way it has always been done.
03
Three locations
North on Huron in 1985, then South on Wellington, then West on Wharncliffe. Same kitchen standards.
04
House beer
A partnership with Forked River Brewing in London. Salt Spray Blonde Ale, made for fish and chips.
Three locations
All open today.
North on Huron Street. South on Wellington Road. West on Wharncliffe Road South. Same fish, three rooms.
