Dr. Lavina D souza has practiced dentistry for over 33 years, and at Cosmo Dental Centre since 2017. She graduated as Bachelor of Dental Surgery from India in 1989 and practiced general dentistry in India and the UAE until 2007.
She graduated as Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Western Ontario in 2013 and practiced in Kitchener, Ontario from 2013 to 2020. As owner of Cosmo Dental Centre, London, since 2016, she has earned the trust and respect of her patients.
Cosmo Dental Centre is a family dental clinic that serves as the primary source of dental treatment for all members of a family. We place a strong focus on preventative dental treatment in order to protect the dentition and prevent or postpone the onset of new episodes of dental disease.
If therapy or treatment services are necessary that we believe are best handled by a specialist, we will not hesitate to make a recommendation. Our rates are aligned with the current Ontario Dental Association fee guide.

Initial session
A thorough oral examination plus diagnostic data establishes the best treatment plan for each client. In an emergency, the exam identifies the acute problem and we relieve discomfort first.

Second session
We present results, a potential treatment plan, and a cost estimate. We review your oral condition and explain our recommendations in plain English.

Treatment
Treatment performed by experienced and skilled dentists, dental hygienists, and dental staff. Cutting-edge technology paired with routine, gentle methods.

Post-treatment care list
After your initial treatment you are placed on the post-treatment care list. When your appointment is due, we contact you and schedule it.

Identify, treat, teach
Our role is to identify your dental issues, treat them in a timely manner, and teach you how to maintain your oral health at home.

Continuing dental education
The office may close from time to time so the staff can attend continuing dental education classes. Patients benefit directly when we implement the best diagnostic, therapeutic, rehabilitative, and preventative treatment available.

Children with parent or guardian
To avoid misunderstandings and to grant consent for treatment, all children should be accompanied by an adult.

On-time arrival and 24-hour notice
Please arrive on time for your appointment. To change an appointment, you must give at least 24 hours notice. Appointment fees are due at the conclusion of each visit.

CDCP-ACCEPTING
We accept CDCP patients.
Cosmo Dental Centre participates in the Canadian Dental Care Plan. Eligible Canadian residents bring their CDCP letter to the first appointment and we handle billing directly.
