WE WANTED A COOKIE BIG ENOUGH TO COUNT.
Most cookies are an afterthought, a thing next to a coffee. We wanted one that was the whole reason you came in. So we made one. Twice as thick, half a pound, sea salt on top.
The Story

CRUMBY.
Crumb & Stack is a small dessert house in London ON. We bake cookies that take a long time, stack pancakes that come out fast, and pull coffee that does not mess about. The point of the place is that everything is made today, on purpose, by people who care about it.

WE WANTED THE STACK BACK.
Mini pancakes are everywhere in Amsterdam and basically nowhere here. We thought that was a bug. So we put a cast-iron poffertjes pan on the counter and started stacking.

WE WANTED COFFEE THAT WASN'T FALLING ASLEEP.
Single origin, weekly roast, pulled by hand. We pour you a real cup. The cup is the point. The phone is not the point.

WE WANTED A ROOM THAT FELT LIKE SOMETHING.
Twelve seats at the bar. Loud music on Saturday morning, quiet music on Wednesday afternoon. The food is the show. Come hungry.
