Volume I  ·  A practice in London, Ontario

Hope.
Healing.
Health.

Your recovery begins here. Quiet, hands-on physiotherapy on Clarke Road, for the days when moving has felt like work.

From the practice

Most people come to us after months of waiting it out. The pain has not gone away on its own. The exercises from the internet have not stuck. They want a clinician who will look at the whole picture, work with their hands, and explain what is happening in plain English. That is what physiotherapy at Hope 2 Health looks like.

Bhoomika Pathak, our registered physiotherapist, leads the clinic with a focus on pelvic health, acupuncture, concussion, pediatric, and musculoskeletal care. Umma Salma works alongside her in musculoskeletal, neurological, pediatric, and rehabilitative settings. Two careful clinicians. One small room. The kind of attention that has gotten harder to find.

Chapter II

Movement, returning.

Three pillars of physiotherapy at the clinic. Each one starts with a careful first visit.

I.

Manual therapy

Hands-on assessment and gentle joint mobilization. Soft tissue work to free up the places that have been guarded for months.

Expect on visit one: a thorough movement assessment, a clear explanation of what we found, and the first round of hands-on treatment.

II.

Exercise rehabilitation

A program built around the way you actually move. Three to five exercises you can do at home, progressed every visit.

Expect on visit one: short exercises taught in clinic, written down, and emailed if you would like a copy.

III.

Concussion and vestibular

Care for dizziness, balance issues, and post-concussion symptoms. Vestibular rehabilitation that takes pressure off recovery.

Expect on visit one: a gentle screen for dizziness triggers and a calming first set of exercises you can take home.

An entry from the journal

“The kind of place where someone listens for ten minutes before they touch you. Within a month I was sleeping on the painful side again. After six, I was back at the gym.”

Patient note, paraphrased with permission.
