Self-serve only
No counter staff during normal operating hours. The space is yours to use, please leave it the way you found it for the next person.
The Laundry Room is a self-serve laundromat in the Huron Street commercial cluster, sharing the row with a salon and a couple of small neighbours. The floor is open, well-lit, with washers along the front wall and dryers stacked along the back. Folding counter on the side wall, vending wall by the entrance, parking right at the door.
The space runs on the honour system. There is no counter clerk most of the day. The cleaner cycles through to wipe, sweep, and refill the vending wall. The rest is up to you and the people running their wash beside you.
The rules below are how the floor stays usable for everyone. Most of them are common courtesy. A few are about machine longevity, which is why the place is open at all.

Pull your wash and dry as soon as the cycle ends. Loads left in the machine for too long get pulled and folded by the next person.
Quick clean of the lint screen at the start of each dryer cycle. Faster dry, safer machine.
Bring fabric dye projects to a different shop. The machines downstream notice and so does the next customer.
Plenty of folding-table space for waiting kids. Please keep them out of the running drums and away from the changer.
Set lost items on the long folding table near the door. Most things get reclaimed within the day.
Folding table by the door is the lost-and-found spot. We bag stray items at the end of each week. Stop by, take a quick look, leave the rest alone.
