Clarke Road is the spine of east London. Apartments, plazas, schools, the gas stations and corner stores that keep the neighbourhood running. Up Like 7 is one of those rooms. A walk-in barbershop where the regulars and the first-timers wait in the same chairs.
We cut for kids before school photos and for older guys who have been getting the same shape since the seventies. We cut tight skin fades for the high school crew and beard lines for guys who want to keep it sharp for work. The chairs are open the same way for all of them.
The shop runs social-first. We post the cuts on Instagram and Facebook. That is where the day to day lives, the new fades, the shop hours when they shift around a long weekend, the closures when the weather is rough. Follow us there if you want to keep up.
We do not run a booking app and we do not have a full website yet. That is the next step. Until then, walk in any time the lights are on, or DM the shop on social and we will plan a slot for you.

We keep three chairs running. One is reserved for walk-ins so nobody who came in the door gets bumped for a phone call.
Lead barber chair
Skin fades, beard sculpts, and the longer cuts that need an experienced hand from the first snip.
Second chair
Tapers, classic cuts, and line ups. Where most regular cuts land on a busy afternoon.
Walk-in chair
Open for whoever walks in next. If we cannot fit you in, we will tell you the wait honestly so you can plan.
