SAME CORNER.
REAL WINDOW.
A plain look at the current uWebConnect page, and what we would put up instead.
Your website today vs. what it could be.
We built this preview from everything already on your site, reorganized, redesigned, and priced to own outright.
- uwebconnect.com/valleyfarmvariety has an SSL certificate problem
Visiting the current address in Chrome or Safari can throw a Not Secure warning. The certificate is misconfigured at the uWebConnect host. Most people see the red warning and back out before they ever reach a service list. The store loses the visit before it starts.
- Your business lives inside another company URL
uwebconnect.com/valleyfarmvariety is not a domain you own. It is a sub-page on a third-party platform. If uWebConnect changes pricing, shuts down, or deletes your page, your web presence is gone overnight.
- Sunday hours are not stated anywhere obvious
Most corner-store regulars want to know one thing on a Sunday morning: are you open. The current page does not surface Sunday hours up front, so customers default to the chain instead.
- Lottery, ATM, and tap payment are not mentioned
The three reasons most regulars stop in (lottery tickets, ATM cash, tap-without-minimum) are nowhere on the current page. We surface them on the homepage and Stop In page so a first-timer knows immediately what they will find inside.
- Visitors see a "Not Secure" warning
Chrome and Safari flag your website with a scary warning because it doesn't have a little lock icon. Most people hit back before they read a single thing.
- The site doesn't work on phones
Text is tiny. Buttons don't fit. Images overflow. About 7 in 10 people looking for a local business in London are on a phone, and most of them leave immediately.
- The design looks out of date
Customers decide whether to trust a business in under 5 seconds, and they use the website to do it. A dated look makes an excellent business look like it's not paying attention.
- A real domain you own
Move the site off uwebconnect.com onto a domain that says Valley Farm Variety in the URL. The certificate works. The page loads. No warning screens.
- Six aisles in plain English on the Aisles page
Cold case, bread + pantry, frozen, snacks + sweets, drinks, lottery + gift. Each with the actual items on the shelf, in the order you walk past them.
- Sunday hours and open every day, even holidays on the homepage
The thing your regulars actually care about is at the top of the page, not buried three clicks in.
- ATM, lottery, tap-without-minimum stamped front and centre
The Stop In page lays out parking, payment, ATM, and seven-day-a-week opening as stamped icons, not paragraphs.
- A site that actually looks like a real business
Modern design that matches how your business actually feels, not a clicked-together template that looks like everyone else's.
- Works perfectly on phones
Most people looking for you are on a phone. This site is built for phones first, then tablets, then laptops, in that order.
- Everything you already have, better organized
Your hours, your services, your photos, your prices, your booking link, your menu, all of it, in one clean place that people can actually find.
- Fast, secure, and runs itself
Hosted on Cloudflare, the same network that powers Shopify and Discord. Always online, always secure, always fast. No plugins to update.
