A neighbourhood salon, built around the people who keep coming back.
5 Stars sits on the Clarke Road strip in London\u2019s east end. The room is calm. The chairs aren\u2019t lined up shoulder to shoulder. We don\u2019t double-book stylists, and we don\u2019t rush a colour because the schedule slipped.
Most of our regulars have been coming for a long time, and most new clients arrived on a referral from somebody we already cut. That\u2019s the way the salon grew, and it\u2019s the way we like to keep it.
We work the way old salons used to: a real consult before scissors come out, an honest opinion if a colour will not work, and the same hands on the same head every visit when you ask for it.
