Dr. Rod Overton has been practising at Adelaide Family Chiropractic since 1992. Dr. Peter Fonti joined the practice in September 2003. Caitlyn rounds out the team as our Registered Massage Therapist.

Dr. Rod Overton, DC

Dr. Rod Overton earned his Bachelor of Science at the University of Western Ontario before graduating from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 1992. He fell in love with the simplicity of chiropractic philosophy and describes himself as "a caring person and an excellent listener."

Dr. Rod has studied Diversified, MC2 (an upper-cervical-focused technique), and has most recently been incorporating OTZ chiropractic technique. He is a contributing author on four peer-reviewed articles in the Journal of the Canadian Chiropractic Association, and has participated in Ontario Chiropractic Association evidence-based care initiatives.

Outside the clinic, he is married to Debby (his university sweetheart) and has three children: Alyssa, Kiersten, and Connor. The family maintains "a virtually drug-free" lifestyle through regular adjustments, healthy diet, and active living.

Dr. Peter Fonti, DC

Dr. Peter Fonti was born and raised in London, Ontario. He completed his undergraduate degree in biology at the University of Western Ontario, then attended New York Chiropractic College and graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2003 as a Doctor of Chiropractic. He joined Adelaide Family Chiropractic in September 2003.

Dr. Peter has volunteered as a chiropractor for sporting events including the LPGA CN Canadian Open, The Scott Tournament of Hearts, and the Tim Hortons Brier. He presents on wellness, nutrition, injury prevention in athletes, musicians, office ergonomics, and spinal health. In 2009, he was chosen as an Olympic Torchbearer for the 2010 Vancouver Winter Games for his pledge to promote health and active living.

Outside the clinic, he is active in networking and involved in a number of charity events. He stays involved in the musical community as a composer, educator, examiner, and occasional performer.

Caitlyn is our Registered Massage Therapist. Patients book her independently or as part of a coordinated chiropractic-and-massage care plan. Direct billing is available to most extended health insurers, so the only thing you handle at the desk is your portion of the visit.
