Insurance and payment
We work with major insurance providers and bill direct where we can. Children's eye exams are typically covered by OHIP. Diabetic exams are typically OHIP-covered. We will tell you upfront what is covered and what is not.

Optical Coherence Tomography
Cross-sectional imaging of the retina, like an ultrasound for the eye but with light. Catches glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy early.
No. 02
Tonometry
Measures pressure inside the eye. Goldmann applanation and non-contact (the puff of air). Both screen for glaucoma.
No. 03
Retinal photography
A single high-resolution image of the back of the eye. We compare year over year for any change.

Axial length measurement
Used to track myopia progression. The eye should not keep getting longer through childhood.

Ultra widefield imaging
A wide view of the retina to spot peripheral issues that a standard exam can miss.
