Our story 由来

Také means bamboo.

We are famous for our dragon rolls, but the kitchen is always experimenting and inventing new dishes. Fresh seafood every day, an abundant variety of spices from across Asia, and a room that wants you to stay.

01 · Heritage 伝統

Opened in 1994.

Three decades and counting. Také is one of London's longest-running sushi restaurants, applauded for both its gracious service and its casual take on fine dining.

02 · The name

Také means bamboo.

Bamboo grows fast, stays straight, and bends without breaking. The name is a quiet reminder of the kitchen's philosophy: the most fresh, best quality ingredients, prepared cleanly, made beautiful.

03 · Family 家族

Built for the table.

High chairs and kids' tables, puzzles for the elderly, soft leather benches, and Japanese-style private booths. The room is set up to disappear, so the meal can take centre stage.

In their words

Since opening in 1994, we have been one of London's leading sushi restaurants. Applauded for both gracious service and a casual take on fine dining.

With finely and intricately cut fresh Japanese seafood and mouth watering Korean spices, we present you with the most iconic dishes from both worlds.

Whether you're stopping in for lunch, ordering takeout, reserving a large private booth, or planning a catered event, we'll take it from there.
