Plain English at the chair
Diagnoses, options, and risks explained without jargon. If you walk out unsure what we did, we did not finish the visit.
We answer the phone. We say what we are doing. We bill OHIP. The door is open.
Argyle Medical Clinic is a small community medical practice on Clarke Road in east London. We see family-medicine patients on our roster, plus walk-in visits during posted clinic hours. Most of our work is the kind of routine care that keeps a neighbourhood healthy: physicals, prescriptions, kids' check-ups, blood-pressure follow-ups, sore throats, sprained ankles, and the occasional referral when a specialist is the right answer.
We are not a hospital, we are not an urgent-care, and we are not a walk-in factory. We are the doctor's office on Clarke Road. The waiting room has chairs people actually use, and the front desk knows most of the regulars by name.
Most visits are covered by OHIP. Bring your Ontario health card to every visit. We tell you up front if any service is uninsured.

Same-day visits during posted hours. We do not turn away the easy cases just because they are easy.
Family-medicine visits run as long as they need to. We protect a few longer slots a day for complex cases.

For walk-in visits, bring your Ontario health card and a brief list of what is going on, plus any current medications. The doctor will read it before you go in. For family-medicine appointments, also bring any past records you have on hand.
