FAMILY MEDICINE

Family Medicine

Ongoing primary care for adults and children. We see you for the things that come up week to week, and for the long-term things that need a steady hand year over year.

WALK-IN

Walk-In Care

Same-day care during posted clinic hours. Bring your Ontario health card and a brief note about what is going on. The shorter waits are usually mid-morning and mid-afternoon.

  • Common acute concerns (cold, flu, sore throat)
  • Skin issues (rashes, infections, wound care)
  • Minor injuries (sprains, cuts, burns)
  • Urinary infections + GI issues
  • Prescription refills (with active scrip)
  • Sick notes + work-related forms
PREVENTIVE

Preventive Care

Catching things early is cheaper, less invasive, and far more pleasant than catching them late. Routine screening adapted to your age, family history, and risk factors.

  • Blood pressure + cardiovascular screening
  • Diabetes screening + monitoring
  • Cancer screening (Pap, mammogram referral, colorectal)
  • Lifestyle counselling (diet, exercise, sleep, stress)

REFERRALS

Specialist Referrals

When the right answer is a specialist visit, we coordinate the referral, send the chart, and follow up afterwards.

PAYMENT + INSURANCE

OHIP card at the desk.

Most visits are OHIP-insured. Bring your Ontario health card to every visit. If a service is uninsured (some forms, missed-appointment fees, sick notes for some employers), we will tell you up front so you can decide.
