In-house CBCT scan

3D imaging, in-house, no outside referrals.

CBCT lets dentists evaluate underlying bone structure and nerve pathways. Critical when placing dental implants or removing wisdom teeth near nerves.

Why 3D imaging matters

It is really important to know your bone in three dimensions when placing dental implants and in certain cases when removing wisdom teeth. The wisdom teeth roots are sometimes in close approximation to the underlying nerve, and removal in such cases without proper imaging can result in inevitable nerve injury, leading to short-term or long-term numbness on the lip, tongue, or chin area.

An alternative course of treatment in such a case can avoid nerve injury entirely. CBCT imaging tells us what we are dealing with before we plan.

What else CBCT helps with

It can be used to aid in diagnosing otherwise undetectable problems like pathology or a cracked tooth. Having the scan in-house means no waiting on outside imaging or extra appointments.
