What is Invisalign

Invisalign is a reputable clear aligner used in orthodontic treatment. Made from a material called SmartTrack, the aligner is designed to be barely seen. They are customized to help straighten your teeth over time without brackets or metal wires.

During each stage of treatment, a series of custom clear aligners is precisely manufactured for your teeth. The dentist creates a treatment plan based on your smile during the initial consultation using 3D computer imaging technology.

How effective are these aligners

Aligners can address several issues corrected by metal braces. If the patient follows the treatment plan, they can see a visible transformation of their teeth in a matter of months.

Most people shy away from orthodontic treatment because they do not like the look and feel of traditional braces. With Invisalign, the aligners are nearly invisible and the treatment time is shorter.

How it works

Invisalign clear aligners are developed to move misaligned or crooked teeth in small increments as your treatment progresses. You wear each aligner for about two weeks before it is replaced by the next one. The process continues until your teeth are in their correct positions.

Aligners are built from computer-generated images and impressions taken from your mouth, and made using BPA-free plastics.

Benefits

  • Virtually invisible: clear acrylic aligners that are distinct and comfortable
  • No wires, no brackets, no sharp metal
  • Removable: pop them out while eating and brushing (recommended 22 hours per day wear)
  • Fewer dental visits than traditional braces
  • Treats overbite, underbite, crowding, and many other issues
  • Most treatments take 6 months to 2 years depending on complexity
